***Help us celebrate our 75th Anniversary!!! A special project has been started in our name and we would appreciate your participation. By July 31, 2019, we would like to collect at least 350 books appropriate for kindergarten students. At the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year, kindergarten students in multiple classes in Loudoun County will each receive a brand new book. We are hoping that this will help start them on a journey to love reading. Click this sentence to go to our book wishlist on Amazon. Your purchase will be sent to us automatically.***

We are close to reaching our goal of donating books for our target school in our book drive! Keep those books coming. Please continue to share our project with friends, family, neighbors, etc. Books ordered on Amazon .com need to be delivered by July 31. The final meeting to bring them to will be June 1st.

Think of the joy these youngsters will have when they receive their book.

GFWC, the Woman's Club of Loudoun is a service and social organization with the purpose of bringing together women who are interested in the welfare of their community. 2014 marked a significant anniversary--70 years since a group of thirteen women met on July 19, 1944, to discuss forming a club and joining the Virginia Federation of Women's Clubs (VFWC). The Club's structure and objectives were then worked out with the VFWC. The first official meeting occurred on September 9, 1944, and fifty-five women joined.

The Virginia Federation of Women's Clubs is a part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) headquartered in Washington, DC, also with a significant historical background. The Woman's Club of Loudoun invites all women with the common interest of supporting their local community.

Our current membership includes women of all age groups and interests. Come join us for friendship and fun as we support local, state, national and international communities with our time, talents, and gifts.

Usually, general Club meetings occur on the first Saturday of the month. An administrative board also meets monthly in the months August through May. Locations for monthly meetings vary throughout the year, but most are located in Leesburg. You can check our Calendar page for the exact meeting location.

WCL meetings are hosted by member groups in these areas: Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, and Public Issues. Fundraisers and social events are also a part of the Club's events.
